IANAD, but taking off the thing that contains what came out of your mouth & nose and putting it up against someone else’s seems risky.
Ewwww! I just threw up a little.
Oh, totally! I mentioned that they were young teens, right? It’s probably not the only thing they do together that puts them at risk. Just standing in a tight circle to talk is enough, and that’s what they were doing while waiting.
But at least the gas station was holding the line about wearing masks.
Sigh…we’re gonna need a new PSA about what not to do with a mask, right? Cover the nose and mouth, don’t share them with friends, and who knows what else.
That georgia school acted like high school sports are more important than human life
Shhh! Once it became the priority over education, we all knew this day might come…
I hope the inevitable lawsuits for deaths due to what amounts to willful criminal negligence are a terrible financial hardship for that school district.
Did I say I know someone in that district? He’s a senior this year…
I’m so sorry…
Having watched videos from covidiot protests, I’d say that some would certainly stick it to their fridges in an act of unintentional self-own.
That’s horrible to hear
Yeah… I hope he’s going to be okay or at least decided to go to school from home? He also works at a grocery store, so he’s also an essential worker…
From the end of the article:
On Wednesday, the school addressed the controversy that had swirled around the viral photograph via an intercom announcement from North Paulding High School principal Gabe Carmona. In it, according to two people familiar with the situation, he stated that any student found criticizing the school on social media could face disciplinary consequences.
Well, speaking as someone who is not a student, may I just say that, Gabe, you deserve a kick in the balls.
I appreciate this one
I wonder for how much longer conservative states can lie about this being under control
“In an ever-changing, incomprehensible world the masses had reached the point where they would, at the same time, believe everything and nothing, think that everything was possible and that nothing was true. … Mass propaganda discovered that its audience was ready at all times to believe the worst, no matter how absurd, and did not particularly object to being deceived because it held every statement to be a lie anyhow. The totalitarian mass leaders based their propaganda on the correct psychological assumption that, under such conditions, one could make people believe the most fantastic statements one day, and trust that if the next day they were given irrefutable proof of their falsehood, they would take refuge in cynicism; instead of deserting the leaders who had lied to them, they would protest that they had known all along that the statement was a lie and would admire the leaders for their superior tactical cleverness.”

Just like stores have hand sanitizer dispensers at the entrance for the customers, they should have mask dispensers. They don’t have to be especially good masks, not even as good as the ubiquitous 25 cent blue paper ones, just some kind of one-use thing made out of thin paper that will work for the 10 minutes the customer is in the store.
