Continuing coronavirus happenings (Part 1)

What a difference a month makes. Still, the crowds at Barrio (a taco place) and the food truck park are 50% masked. And both Lakewood and Cleveland school districts are starting the year virtual. The richer southwest suburbs?

Just like that! Sports participation is more important than a pandemic, to them.

i feel bad for halloween and the kiddos. very curious what it will look like this year, and what the responsibile thing to do will be living in a place where kids usually stop by for candy

Guessing here, but it’s brief interactions, outside. This seems like something that can be handled.
Masks will be recommended/required by whatever the local governing authority is.

Also, a lot of kids will dress as doctors.

I read somewhere (I actually think it was here) that students had been told anyone criticizing the school conditions would face discipline. They are desperate.

They are gonna get themselves sued, or people will decide to start acting outside the law… or both.

It wouldn’t surprise me if the kid is happy to be suspended, considering what going to school would mean for them right now, based on these photos.

Right?

If I was a kid at that school, I’d do the same, and encourage everyone else to take and post pics in HOPES of getting sent home.

Fucking asshole admins…

Wow, I bet the families of those students are just thrilled. It wouldn’t make sense to quarantine just the kids and their teacher, right? Hopefully, they had procedures for getting the kids to school without interacting with other students who weren’t in their class.
