Continuing coronavirus happenings (Part 1)

Keith Brown, SNP deputy leader, said: “This statement is a gutless capitulation by BBC bosses. Newsnight should be commended - not slapped down - for their serious investigative work on Cummings, that’s not something you could say about the BBC News at 10.

Leave it to the SNP to talk a bit of sense.

Gutless wonders…

I wonder what Laura Kuenssberg will have to say about it?

Frankly, I don’t think I’m surprised or disappointed. More tired of this obvious and lame Right Wing shitshow continuing.

After seeing how people are ignoring COVID-19 safety regulations as California restrictions are eased, I’m not anticipating it will be the happiest place on earth for long.

Hey, we did the Reopening Fever! Now if you don’t have a job it’s because you’re lazy! Throw those kids out on the street, and if they don’t like it, we have cages for them.

In Pennsylvania, judges are elected. Growing up in NJ, I always thought that was weird, but now I’m glad voters can get remove judges who rule for their own benefit and ignore the needs of their constituents. Looks like TX has a system similar to the one in PA, and I hope the voters remember this on Election Day.

while they talk about testing

The most recent data says the US has carried out about 15 million so far. That figure puts the US way ahead of other countries…

one notable thing they fail to mention is the fact the cdc and some states have been conflating antibody tests with regular tests, so the actual level of active case testing is anyone’s guess
