Since the fad is over because almost everyone figured out what a scam of scum and villainy cryptocoins are, I guess this is the sort of stunt they need to do.

I was wondering when a cryptocoin would emerge.

Just go to Las Vegas already. Why would you trust some stranger to burn money?
It’s rather clever. If the creators manage to sell some to some coins to stupid cynics, no one will feel sorry for them once the value of the coin inevitably drop to nothing. While you can fool an honest man, it’s so much more satisfying to fool a crook.
