Just fog/mist? It gets that way in Seattle as you get higher up. I still find it odd that weather reports state the snow level though twice I have left my house where it is snowing to head to the kids school which is just a few hundred feet lower and it is raining there.

A lot of digital recording gear runs at 24 bits, 96kHz, so there are lots of models from several manufacturers with ā24/96ā in the name.
(But like a lot of electronic musicians I run my DAW at 44.1kHz.)
