Credit card companies will no longer require signatures

The most common for personal uses for cheques in the U.S. are for paying rent (lots of landlords still aren’t on automatic bill payment) and giving $100+ cash gifts for events like weddings and birthdays (there are also those giant novelty cheques for contest winners, which I believe should be counted). Otherwise it’s relatively rare for USAians who aren’t senior citizens to use cheques.

So what does he use instead? Personal seal? Recorded testimony? Thumbprint?

I still write 1 or 2 a month. One for the piano instructor, maybe another for a school activity.
