Hmm. I feel like there would be a lot of steps explaining cryptocurrency to Jesus. On the other hand, he could probably tell it was a table flip situation a long time before they got to the end.
HE is somewhat of a NFT himself, though.
Imagine how sad one’s life must be to have spent untold thousands of dollars on a string of ones and zeroes asserting ownership of some generic low-res digital illustrations of monkeys… and then losing the ones and zeroes.

I read through part of the chain and can’t figure out what exactly happened. Owner got fooled into signing a craftily-worded contract? It reinforces that I have no desire to get involved with crypto or NFTs
That is the correct lesson to take, yes.
That guy finally found his hard drive in the landfill?
No financially literate person is going to have anything to do with NFTs, except possibly to scam financially illiterate people with them.
Perhaps theres a larger significance to ETH transaction fees being referred to as “gas fees”
