Elvis Costello covering Aimee Mann’s ‘The Other End Of The Telescope’, and Roger McGuinn’s ‘You Bowed Down’ - both songs were written or co-written by Costello, but recorded by the other artists, before Costello covered them, and a bunch of other songs he wrote for other artists on ‘All This Useless Beauty’.
Superb album, probably my favourite Costello album.

I like a lot of his songs, but I do wish his singing style were a bit less whiny.

That moment at the end when he does the “owww” after the high five. So genuine.
