Didn’t someone hack one of those rubbish Tomy dashboard toys into an Outrun game at some point?

I can’t imagine where you’d source an LCD that has the native resolution of standard-res arcade monitor. The project page linked to even recommends a 1024x768 screen. If you’re doing that, you’re blending and stretching pixels, and the output’s no longer “pixel-perfect.”
I’m referring to the cabinet, obviously.
