adorable
…and yes, a wild animal that should be left alone. Glad it’s in the right hands now.

Felis Sylvesteris I love it Suffering Succotash
Glad they’re returning it to the wild.
Honestly, they aren’t that much bigger than an average house cat. I think the size reduction came when they (or rather, their African cousins) self selected to live around humans.
Neither of them leaves me wanting to expose skin anywhere near them. The size of the claws on that baby one is enough of a warning for me…
Right?
I was very surprised to see that; it was a honest mistake on the part of the rescuer.
Man, those look a lot closer to domestic cats than the American Bobcat/Wildcat.
I am failing at multitasking and thought I had opened the one on wings and horns. Cute cat beast is lacking wings and horns. I will see what that other thread is really about in a moment.
Awwww, who wants a tummy rub?
Aww, who wants to dip their arm in a vat of disinfectant?
They look like they’ve got some attitude. Pretty burly lookin’ too.
Definitely approach with caution.
Oh those are such adorable little murder muffins!
… which I will admire from an appropriate distance, of course.
That one on the right. Now that’s a grumpy looking cat.
Have you been around a lot of kittens? They have terrifyingly sharp teeth and claws. (Adult teeth in particular are still sharp but more tapered and not as curved. Plus, their jaws are much stronger so they don’t need their teeth to be as sharp.)
I can definitely see why someone would have made this mistake. I’ve never seen a domestic tabby with that coloration before, but I probably wouldn’t think twice about it if I just saw it for a moment.
All too often these “animal ‘rescued’ from nature” stories do not have happy endings for the animal.
I know they’re sharp, but most kittens aren’t packing talons like those.
