Sucks to be Paul Manafort.
I would guess he never actually practiced law.
Because “practice makes perfect”, and perfect he ain’t.
In related news, Roger Stone just lost his license to practice heart surgery.
He’s still a top flight jailhouse lawyer.
Crimes “involving moral turpitude.”
Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy he’s going to see the inside of a jail for an extended stay.
But “turpitude”? Color me uninformed, but I thought turpitude was some pre-Civil War era Southern thing.
Forms and traditions must be observed in our courts. As much as they might want to, they can’t just come out and say he’s being disbarred for being a corrupt scumbag.

Quite perfectly I might add.
They need to update their jargon.
But this is good news, a bit of icing for at least one of the cupcakes in the box. The next person I’d like to see disbarred is William Barr. In fact, can we start calling him William Disbarr?
You win the entire thread.
Oh, well then – if “turpitude” is legal dog-whistle for “corrupt scumbag”, then I’m a turpitude booster!
Sucks to be Paul Manafart.
Roger That!
Manafort still has his law license?!
Better late than never I suppose.
FTFY.
He never stood a chance getting off those two yutes.
