Sometime about ‘79/80 I set the tape recorder to record the two hours of our local community radio station’s punk/alt show and getting a tape of X-Ray Spec, Sex Pistols, John Foxx (and early Ultravox) and the Birthday Party. ‘Oh Bondage, up yours’ is still on my Spotify comforting list.
