Merci mille fois, Maman…
Rolling Stone recently put out an updated version of their Top 500 Songs of All Time. And it seems that they have once again chosen to completely ignore a lot of wonderful music from all around the world to focus on music from North America and the United Kingdom, with just a few exceptions. Songs in other languages are still songs!
Were 78 RPM records or wax cilinders the very first music NFTs?
Probably wax cylinders… you can still find plenty of old 78s (although there was a period where the recording industry was asking people to turn them in because of shortages during WW2, so they could be turned into new records).
DJ Spinderella…
Not a Swifty, and the performance was sort of the living embodiment of Bo Burnam’s White Woman’s Instagram… but it was solid and live…
Here is the whole 10 minute spectacle, complete with a film directed by Swift starring Sadie Sink…
A reminder why she got a whole 10 minutes for a song from years ago…
This was fun, too…
And in both the preview and during the end of SNL, she and Jonathon Majors did chest bumps… which was cute.
I’m a fan too!
