This episode has stuck with me for years and years, but I never realized til now that that was Ron Glass. Cool, thanks.

The NYT had a great obituary on him today.

Edit: not NYT but WaPo

He did allow his gamebooks to be downloaded for free a while back at https://www.projectaon.org/, if anyone is interested.

I have rich material to work with today! Plus, Iā€™m trying to make amends for my weak Buzz Aldrin joke (seriously, I donā€™t want to see a link to his obit here, not for at least five weeks).

Shuffling regretfully back on topic: the funny thing is that online attention went to Prunella Scales this year as she has publicly stated she is in early stages of Alzheimerā€™s.

The librarian from the beginning of Ghostbusters (among many other rolesā€“but thatā€™s the one I most recognize her from).

Awakeningsā€¦every time I watch Ghostbusters I think, Iā€™ve seen her somewhere before. And it wasnā€™t just because she looked like some real librarians Iā€™ve known.

I saw that yesterday. Iā€™d never twigged that he was the GoT guy, I remember him from Porridge.
