I wouldn’t think so as long as they’re not the ones making the choice to end their own lives. There are even legends of Christian martyrs who had input on the manner of their executions, including Saint Peter who (by popular tradition) asked to be crucified upside down because he believed himself unworthy to die in the same manner as his Lord.
