Quinoa, by the way, is pronounced “Keen-wa”
I’ve heard the “proper” pronunciation many times but frankly i don’t care. If a snobby hipster wants to turn up their nose at me they can jog off.
Of interest, in Peru and Bolivia it is spelled phonetically. Quinua. But elsewhere in other Hispanic countries and non-spanish speaking ones it is spelled Quinoa.
Uhh that figures. One of the many reasons I prefer not to visit Whole Paycheck. Clearly not hip enough.
This company’s spicy crunchy peas are also v v good.
