Who’s the “we” in the headline?

I avoid horror. I cringe at horror.

I close my eyes and cover my ears. I have trouble persuading others that this is not performative… I’m really trying to exclude the inputs.

I once walked out of a horror movie. I’d been dragged to the show by the friends I was visiting far from home. I ended up in the lobby twittering my thumbs, because it was pre-personal-device and the theatre was not in walking distance of anything else.
