…
We fear the dark because we don’t like to trip and fall. Hitting the ground is not fun and it hurts.
This question was answered in the first Conan movie; we fear the dark cuz Thulsa Doom.
Very educational movie; it also taught us what is best in life.
Appropriate:
Oh good more light pollution.
Why can’t we just fear the dark in the dark?
Swimming in the sea at night is a good way to magnify those fears.
Oh great, just throw some thalassophobia in there, too
Embrace the DARK!
“And by the way, If you see your mom this weekend, will you be sure and
tell her…
SATAN SATAN SATAN!!!”
Something wicked that way goes; I hate the dark I stub me toes.
“It’s better to regret something you’ve done, than something you haven’t done.”
Snorkelling in the dark is even better or worse
Thanks for the nightmare fuel, buddy
Or being jumped on by toothy, nocturnal creatures.
This song is spooky on its own, I can’t imagine listening to it while doing something like walking through the above installation.
That is an installation I would love to walk through. Imagine the sensations you would experience.
The human idea of the dark=v bad thing could have something to do with millions of years of this kind of thing:
any one remember a running fence
Likewise. This looks fun.
“I shall walk through the valley of the shadow of death. In fact, now that I think of it, I shall run through the valley of the shadow of death , cause you get out of the valley quicker that way.”
- Woody Allen (Love & Death)
I’ve done it once, and it was an incredible experience. Scared the bejesus out of my wife though.
