This info is relevant because these stories might be the reason why Sonic 3 hasn’t been put on several collections/mini-consoles or has been rereleased without the soundtrack over the years

Out of curiosity, I checked the Sonic 3 page in Wikipedia and the soundtrack is called out as the reason why it was not included on the Sega Genesis Mini and was not given a remaster on mobile devices. Even though I’ve since decided that Sonic games are actually not that enjoyable, I’m glad I have this game on Sonic Mega Collection on the GameCube.
