Now why have I never thought of that?

Umami, very slightly salty, gorgeous buttery mouth feel, with sweet and sour on top? But not smeared together, perhaps more like how a trifle has individual flavor layers?

(Will do again, 4 out of 5 stars. Take some of your morels, put them in a plastic bag with a stick of butter in the fridge for a week. Thank me later.)

Oh aren’t you sneaky? Is that like cutting open a vanilla pod and shoving it into the sugar bin? Will my butter be heavenly?

Would it make more sense to use a food processor to fully mix the morel bits in with the butter instead?

The magnificent Kostenlos Vogel Suite in F Flat Major?

Teeheehee…

I guess it depends on if you want a true compound butter or want to use the morels in say a risotto the next week?

How did you stump me with that reference? Do you have a link so that I can educate myself?

Was it inevitable that I would get sucked into this thread?

Or, might it be my Swedish side that has its roots dripping with cheese?
The French-Canukians? What area of Michigan were my mother, my finance director and Madonna from?

Should I try it with the crumpets I made yesterday instead of English muffins?

Aw, is that Julia Child I see there in the middle back? Wouldn’t I love to get back the copy I cooked from when I was young? Is a cookbook really a cookbook before there are at least a couple of stains on the pages?

Are the Bay City Rollers from there too?

Shall I call one of my relatives and see if they can ship you some authentic Wisconsin-made brats?

And if you want the full-on eastern WI experience, shouldn’t you be listening to the Happy Schnapps Combo?

Won’t they be all cold and eaten by the time they get to Australia? Can you keep them warm for when I get around to going to a game there?

It’s pretty easy to ship biological stuff into Australia, isn’t it?

Didn’t I read that they tightened up restrictions recently and it doesn’t need a criminal record anymore?

Don’t they still spray people before they are allowed off the plane, and fine you if you bring fruit with you?
