DId you know I just moved away from Phoenix last June after living there for 15 years and that I grew up in the middle of the Arizona desert before that? I moved to Vermont. Apparently I’m impervious to both extreme cold and extreme heat. Who knew?

Is impervious a word? is it appropriate in the context in which I used it? Am I the only one that reads a lot and sometimes misuses those big fancy words I wasn’t taught in school because I went to shitty public school in the middle of the desert?
