Is it odd that I miss doing dishes by hand?
I grew up in a house with no dishwasher and now I find it a nice way to relax and clear my mind in the evening.

Can I confess to really enjoying splitting wood for similar reasons?
(Do I mean in the mind clearing sense? Wouldnāt it be neat though if I could somehow relate it to not having a dishwasher?)

Donāt do it when itās a slow time at the restaurant? Make eye contact and pretend things are normal? Choose restaurants that have the bathrooms near the front door?

How is it that I was able to cull over two dozen books from my shelves in preparation for packing? Didnāt I just do that within the past couple of years? Should I be sad about how easy it was to get rid of them, seeing as I had once paid good money to buy the darn things?
But isnāt it a good thing that Iāll be donating them to the library so they can either add them to their shelves or sell them to make money to add more books and movies to their collections, which I can then borrow for free?

Didnāt some of us have moms who made sure to impress upon us the importance of returning library property in a timely manner, thereby allowing us to avoid the embarrassment of being fined for overdue materials?

Wasnāt I bad when and didnāt use ear plugs when I finally got a chance to see Man or Astro-Man? live a few years ago now? Was it totally worth the hearing damage?
