On a positive note, sous vide anyone!?
(Cleaning/test run, doesn’t the pot look tiny?)
No, it doesn’t, but is that because I’m aware the food just needs to be submerged and one doesn’t need as much water as you think?
Had incredible sous vide fish at David Toutain’s, if you’re in Paris I highly recommend it, an amazing experience. Totally made me want to get one. But then I remembered I totally don’t have the patience to deal with ziplocks and that thing on my counter all day. Crockpot 4-eva.
Hold it from the right and finish it in two bites? We were encouraged several times to use our hands, it’s a really comfortable space, not as fussy and fancy as their food would make you believe it is.
Raspberry beef carpaccio was off the chain:
after thinking about it, wouldn’t making a plate similar to that be almost as cheap as buying a plate from a store? a little distressed cedar, a few finishing nails, and some slate bits, right?
Am I the only one on Donald duty lately?
Don’t you see that question?
It’s only time, I guess? Is that worth something?
absolutely, and don’t i love spending time building things?
You still got all that free time?
And shouldn’t you really commit to a bowl full of hay while you’re at it?
I’ve cooked in hay, isn’t it cool?
Aaaaaaaaand… who was able to enroll in all the necessary courses for fall, and will be in school just three days a week? And ain’t I a happy camper, despite the fact that one of those days is Saturday (at 7am! Ack!)?
Could be worse, how does Numerical Methods at 10pm every night cause it was summer session sound?
(Edit MTThF but may as well have been every night.)
Class starting at 10 pm? Are they nuts?
Okay, serious question–my band is putting together a new set (fiddle, guitar, mandocello, drums) so how many Polkas should we do? A lot, or most?
(Like this)
Are six Polkas enough?
Can you do a Jimi Hendrix Polka?
Can I say I have been advocating a rolling stones polka!?
Any Frankie Yankovic on your playlist?
