Isn’t it a colloquial abbreviation for “shall not?” Doesn’t it turn the sentence into literally “shall not we play questions?” But isn’t it a word-play meaning “we shall play questions”? Aren’t both my Dutch and my French so limited I can’t translate it exactly?
