Whale watching?
No, isn’t it usually the whale collisions and or appetite?

Dude, we just hit 16k!?
Okay, should I start a game thread named “Nightmare Fuel”?
If it was just an unusual boating accident triggering google’s fear-mongering is there anything that could stop me from cetacean time?
Did you read every single one carefully?
I’m thinking mandating that every image must have a description, and be (what’s the word) spoilered? Plus no porn/violence/explicit, mostly just for pg13 things like giant spiders–is that just begging for trouble?
(It’s probably begging for trouble)
(Replied to wrong thing, skip)
Totally replied to the wrong thing, but can I say… Yes? (Yes (but obviously no (but yes)))
That’s a maybe… will you have a car?
(You could definitely spend a long day there with Buschart Gardens and The Royal Museum but there is plenty to do in Vancouver and nearby areas without a ferry trip, to do it you would want to get up and out early and would be back after dinner)
Did you know I’m kind of a sensitive soul (or wuss, depending on who you ask) so I actively avoid nightmare fuel? Would it surprise you to learn the last horror movie I saw was Nightmare on Elm Street (when it was new)? Is this my way of saying I’m not the target market for Nightmare Fuel?
Isn’t this the big question in all vacations? 90% chance? How cool is The Royal Museum? Is Buschart Gardens as beautiful in person as it is in the photos?
Well there are other options to consider, why not the Van Dusen Gardens which are in the city limits as well as Queen Elizabeth Park with a conservatory and nicely landscaped garden area?
(I have only been to the Royal Museum for specific exhibits, I like it but the northwest native stuff you can get that at the UBC Museum of Anthropology so unless the special exhibit is one you want to see I would give it pass, and Buschart is indeed as stunning as the pictures you can get a tourist bus that will take you there and back if you want to do just that)
This is great info., how can I thank you enough? Do you birdwatch ever? Did you know that the hooded mergansers, avocets, bald eagles, loons, and things are the main draw for me besides otters and whales?
Eagles you can definitely see if you venture out of the city, the rest I dunno, can I say I am not the person to ask?
Did you know not to worry, since ebird will tell me just what I want to know? Can you tell I’ve been pulling up species lists for the region during the time I’ll be there to work out birding plans?
I was gonna check out this thread and see what it was all about. Then I saw this:
ETA: is there a tl;dr?
Do you want to change that to a question?
This thread has only one rule really, it isn’t that hard to follow is it?
Do you have to do it, or do I?
I think I did?
Are you gonna turn me into a birder? Haven’t I been resisting it ever since I saw a wild golden eagle on I5?
Did you know you can easily skim through a thread with the J and K keys?
Or would you rather just save the pain and suffering and ignore our attempts at breaking discourse?
