I think the main subject and attendant sycophantic subjects are not funny, but certainly are objects for derision and pity. Their ridiculous, hyperbolic self-pitying and -mythologizing statements are ripe for mockery.

But no. I can almost guarantee someone or a series of someones are going to be stabbed at the Glasgow event. Also expect to see a heavy police presence, fighting, injuries and the event to be called off for safety reasons. If no one dies it will be a miracle, I expect to see:

  • protests
  • infiltrators in the event if it does go ahead, both police and protestors
  • arrests
  • fights in and outside of the venue
  • stabbings with small, medium and comically large knives
  • a fire
  • badly injured people and potentially one or more deaths
  • buckfast
