How sad was I that the last attempt to migrate to Lightroom was a rough experience? Have you worked with Apple Photos before? Isn’t it the most restricted, CPU-hogging, irritatingly pointlessly limited thing (no ‘edit in external editor’, no PS plugin support, no brushes/edge selection/any election at all, crippled, tiny set of built in filters, totally hobbled handling of syncing to flickr/fb/photo sharing sites, no loupe - WTF)? When it’s time won’t I poke around in Capture One and look at Lightroom again to see what works for the things I do?
How do I install that on my iPad?
Are you running Safari, or Chrome?
Oh, as a PCer haven’t I been LR since v2 arrived? Also, no loupe? Why haven’t you moved already?
I think we’ve all considered Capture One at one time or another, but losing all my adjustments AND keywording at the same time while increasing my software costs? It just seems like it’s too much to bear both the time and the cost, right? I mean, I didn’t even upgrade to 6 because I wasn’t hip to CC and still am on the fence to see if 7 comes as a standalone version, right?
Ain’t I running Safari?
Isn’t tech. support on the questions thread always a little more challenging?
Isn’t the trick to visit the link here:
http://jsfiddle.net/gwwar/p8zohfcr/
select and copy the bookmarklet code,
then make a bookmark give it a nice name and save it,
then go back to your bookmarks,
edit that bookmark replacing the url with the JS by selecting all the url then pasting,
then when you are on the BBS page, use the bookmark and, voilà, full post?
While I found this just worked on my iPad, we all are aware this extends no warranty of any kind, either express or implied, right?
Have you tried turning it off and back on again?
Is it plugged in?
Is it on fire?
Serious question: Does nobody enjoy their job? Am I a weirdo because I kept doing things I enjoyed until I found a job that made me happy and then stopped? That robot future thread really has me curious about the life choices of others, how about everyone else?
Have you tried lighting it on fire?
I sorta do? Do I miss just installing an OS on servers all day (the last position I had)? Yes but really I probably was overpaid for doing that other than things like physical servers that are gonna be fail over clusters with 50+ SAN disks it all can be done by scripts can’t it?
Would I like more time to really get to where I feel comfortable with knowing clearcase well enough to support it properly? Would I have said yes to taking the job if people were up front about what I was getting hired for?
Am I happy I get to do things like linux, ESX, and NetApp administration? (yes, but i am still foggy about the fiddly details of the administration of the rational products)
Haven’t I been doing this job so long that it’s all I’m really qualified to do, and with bills and a young family, I can’t really run away and go live on a beach somewhere (even if that was what I wanted to do)?
Haven’t I enjoyed some aspects of my work over the years but mostly some of the shorter-lived bits that involved lots of travel that don’t really constitute a full time job (and wouldn’t be fun long-term anyway)? Doesn’t work get dull after you know what you’re doing? Isn’t the learning part the fun bit?
If I won the lottery, wouldn’t I go become a perpetual student and/or world traveller?
Enjoy your job? In IT?
Didn’t I enjoy the work I did, but hate the jerk (and by extension the company) I worked for? Am I not hoping to find a better fit once I get my degree and once again become a grown-up?
Have you reached your maximum likes for today?
Are you now, or have you ever been, a member of the Regular’s Lounge?
why does that sketch make want to cry in sympathy with the expert?
No, isn’t it common knowledge that I don’t typically do so unless I get super agro about it and like everything I see?
A fire? At Sea-parks?
