Why didn’t anybody tell me Madeline Kahn was dead?
YOU’VE HAD MORE THAN 15 YEARS, WASN’T THAT LONG ENOUGH TO BREAK THE NEWS?!?!?
(Seriously, I open up wikipedia and see “Madeline Kahn was” and I’m WHAT?!?)

I got to see her on stage many many years ago now…and I almost forgot what thread I am in didn’t I?
So how many of you geezers out there taking blood pressure meds found it easier to get tipsy after starting them? Or is it just me being a lightweight cause I don’t have cocktails all that often?
That’s too bad you didn’t know, but wasn’t she utterly hilarious when she was still with us?
The Surfer Dude of Sherwood Forest?
3 days off with and only 156 replies in the questions thread and 258 in the lounge… are… are the questioners slipping?
don’t I have a day job? shouldn’t I be doing that instead of hanging around in this thread?
Why is it so hard to find citation format for the LOC?
Don’t you know how busy I’ve been with the weekend and designing a treehouse?
So much drama in the LOC?
Have you ever tried using their catalog number system? Isn’t it even a bit wacky at times?
While we’re at it, do you know about Gilda Radner?
What happened?
Is it “kinda hard being Snoop D-O- Double G?”
(Sorry, I had to.)
Nothing recently, but wouldn’t it be exciting if something had?
Should someone start a thread?
Isn’t it less drama and more just the insane scope of the collection in the sound recording section? Don’t they hold pretty much copies of all catalogues, press releases, and recordings that are copyrighted? Isn’t it partially my fault for not keeping better records of what I looked at while I was there, and instead just snapping pics as I went? [quote=“tropo, post:19647, topic:54417, full:true”]

Ain’t that the truth?
Wouldn’t they have copies of all of Snoop Dogg’s recordings, as well as any press releases that went along with it? Isn’t it an amazing, if overwhelming resource?
One would think so, huh?
Wouldn’t one? Didn’t I figure it out from the old stalwart, the Chicago Manual of Style, and the online finding aid?
Doesn’t the size and scope of the LOC just amaze and boggle? Have you ever been there? Shouldn’t you go and check it out sometime? Shouldn’t we all?
#Road Trip!??!?
