I’m not sure if they did anything for import into Lightroom Classic, which is what I primarily use.

I’ve always thought the import left a bit to be desired, but then again I’d like a command line import option (“lightroom import /Volume/photos --template whatever --options whatever”).

No changes to Classic importing, as this was an exclusively iOS/iPadOS problem where you were forced to import into the camera roll, AND THEN into Lightroom. Apple finally fixed it in a recent version, and Lightroom Mobile will soon take advantage of it.

Thanks, I didn’t realize it was that bad–I’ve never imported into the iOS version.
