In initially parsed the headline as “Documentary about Mattel’s efforts to make Barbie (is) relevant again,” rather than “(There is a) Documentary (which is) about Mattel’s efforts to make Barbie relevant again.” Since the Barbie movie probably did a fair bit to make Barbie (and documentaries about it) relevant again, they both make sense…
That documentary poster makes me cringe.
To think they went from this to a mumblecore feature film… they must’ve had NASA at work on reviving Barbie.
