Average Nevarro resident: Did we just put the lives of our whole planet in the hands of a weird murder cult?
Evangelical Mandalorian: Hey! We’re not a weird murder cult. Now, you can put on this helmet and never take it off warm, or I can put it on you cold.
“The Naboo N-1 Starfighter seems like a very odd choice…”
Not for the franchise. A rough looking N-1 might sell well as a toy and collectible with new appropriately sized Mandolorian and Grogu action figures you can jam in.
At first I felt losing all that space sucked, but being able to outmaneuver almost anyone has paid off in spades. Btw, were you asking why Din chose it or the director? If I recall correctly, technically Din didn’t “choose” it – it just happened to be the only ship Peli Motto had available at the time.
I concur.
I just watched the first ep of s3 and was a bit confused; I shouldn’t have to go watch 2 eps of Boba Fett in order to be up to date with the current Mandalorian narrative; that’s some BS.
not coincidentally though, those are the only two episodes of the formerly fearsome fett anyone needs to watch
The formerly fearsome bounty hunter who tailed the good guys, had someone else capture them, and then in his first fight with them was accidentally knocked to his death near death?
Apparently nobody stays dead except Owen and Beru…but honestly, I had originally guessed the point of The Mandalorian was to take the neat helmet and put it on a new character that wasn’t such a chump.
it’s true, it would have made more sense as some sort of buddy comedy.
This guy was way more competent than Boba Fett. Tail the fugitives, rat out the location of the Millennium Falcon to the Empire, then walk away and spend the reward money on a lifetime supply of ant snacks or whatever.
Oh well, at least the Lazily Named for Children Cad Bane is dead, if nothing else!
