That’s some interesting work! Looks like it would go well with the old-school horror-themed (Dracula, Frankenstein, Mummy, etc.) dollhouse that a guy I know built for his son.

Thingies like this, the small and accurate kind, at least their rigid parts, should be suitable to be made by 3d printing from photosensitive resin. An inch-wide part made with a HD DLP projector should have resolution of 1000 DPI, given ideal conditions.
A quartz grandfather clock? For shame!
Yeah, I know. This means it actually simulates a real working pendulum clock. But the “Quartz” label is still obvious.
