I didn’t remember Dr. John being in it, but he and Leon Redbone were both in the film Candy Mountain (1988). (Along with Joe Strummer, David Johansen, Tom Waits… )

The second line sendoff for Dr. John over the weekend had seemingly most of the city turn out to say goodbye.
