Twinkle twinkle little star
Now I found out what you are
A lump of rusting rocket case
A rubbish tip in outer space
- Spike Milligan
A bit “on the nose” for 2020…
What would they give for it at the Deposit Depot Bottle, Can & Booster Retrieval Center?
To reduce unnecessary stress during these incredibly stressful times, please note that the Judica-Cordiglia recordings (and their interpretations) have been suspect for decades:
Do things rust in outer space?
V’ger?
It should be a collectible by now. Post it on Craigslist.
Garbage mountain → garbage barge → garbage train → oceanic garbage patches → orbital garbage ring → garbage on the moon → garbage moon.
“Sorry, 'taint a new moon,” said Paul Chodas, head of NASA’s Center for Near Earth Object Studies.
i’m rusting right now!
Not without oxygen.
Also: disappointed not to see any “That’s no moon” posts yet.
Atomic Oxygen can be found in space, though whether it’s a factor in this particular case depends on how distantly it orbits the earth.
Agreed. But as far as the test of time, this recording is even more frightening & unsettling today. Blair Witch Project seems tame in comparison.
Like this?
Since no one said it yet: What goes around comes around…
Any ideas that lead to less litter (and space junk) sound good to me.
