Nah. Dunno about the other signatories but New Zealand knows how to roll over and beg, for sure.
Around the time the coalition of the willing attacked Iraq, we were “forced” to implement a bunch of anti-terror laws expanding police surveillance powers. The cops had a field day with it until the law was finally tested in court and found to be self-contradictory. Good times, they were.
