That poor woman. Cancer and pregnant. Pregnant and cancer.

The traveling anatomical exhibit Body Worlds includes an unfortunate woman who died from cancer at 8 months of pregnancy. She reportedly knew it was coming and made arrangements to donate her and her fetus’ bodies for the exhibit, which preserves and displays partially dissected human bodies with a modern “plastination” technique. It’s a remarkable (and, in this case obviously sad) exhibit.
