What’s less clear was Weiss’s motivation in including that detail (and the paragraph that followed it) in her Twitter Files Introductory Piece.
It’s her usual weird brand of attention-seeking naive populism that somehow trusts the mob to come to the correct (i.e. her) conclusion on any given issue.
If there’s a hell, her place in it will be sitting in a Midwestern diner, forced to listen to Real Americans™ sharing their bigoted and sexist and fascist views for all eternity.
