A moronic philosophy.
Even if only biological continuation is considered, a debatable proposition, then while I have no children, I have a great many cousins and their descendants. The genes that make me are all out there, doing well. Unless Musk manages to clone himself, his legacy will be a similar cloud of genes in a couple generations.
Ask Musk if adoptive parents have little stake in the future. Then punch him.
Of course, this is all a smokescreen. The hypothetical trillions of future babies are just reflections of his own ego.
