This is going on my list of “read to your three-year-old” books when my grandchildren get to that age.
My first book of electronics is so old that the section on diodes doesn’t even include the light-emitting kind.
At last! Now I can find out what an Arduino is. Some kind of diode, I think.

Must be before vacuum tubes then because the filament on vacuum tube diodes emits a soft orangish light.
