I’m thinking this is some “you had to be there” stuff.

I think the cart thing is about the Monk coaxing the Mara into a sexual position resembling a wheelbarrow but even that one is clearly suffering in the translation.

Ohhhh! That makes more sense. I was just assuming the Serbians were the origins of the werecar mythology and this was some freaky paranormal erotica.
