Every bunny was kung-fu fighting

For a start, those aren’t rabbits, they’re hares*, and the boxing is a female fighting off the attentions of an eager suitor.
It’s suggested that the Easter Bunny came about because the hare was seen to be too dark and threatening, it was also the avatar of the pagan goddess of spring, Eostra, from who’s name Easter is taken, thus the connection with the hare/bunny.
The video does rather make me think of a Beatles tune, ‘Why Can’t We Do It In The Road?’, for some reason.

If you think bunnies are just cute lil fluff balls (they are) try the game Lugaru or the sequel Overgrowth. A melee based kung fu game with anthropomorphic animals. The protagonist is a bunny. So fluffy.

I’m not surprised that people of the Medieval Age had a sense of humor. THEY HAD TO.

I’m struck by the imagined image of a tabloid newspaper with the headline “Lapine Sex Pest!” for some reason…

They had other options; admittedly the particularly nasty sort that manage to be compelling without being pleasant…

Lusty Juventas? Misogonus? Nice Wanton?

Those sound like titles for mid-20th century propaganda films! Reefer Madness!

That said, I’ve got to read Snyder’s article.
