it’s kind of a joke… maybe an in joke

a tall thin monitor is good because code tends to be around only 80-120 characters wide. at the same time, it’s really nice to be able to see files side by side sometimes, or to see your file and documentation or a website - which is something wide short monitors are better for

sometimes you really want one, and sometimes you really want the other, and nothing’s ever quite right… at 22 degrees you get a little of both. and it’s ridiculous

like @jarnsaxa, ive got one tall, one wide, a laptop for griping, and a phone for listening to music and checking messages. ( which is also ridiculous :wink: )
