Activists are lobbying for the Reading Prison to be transformed into an arts center rather than be sold to commercial housing developers.
I’m sure developers are eager to somehow make the space into some kind of luxury commercial or residential space, would rather see something positive come out of a former prison like a space dedicated to celebrate art. I can only hope for the best but we’ll see…
