It sure is bonkers! They’re cheating and using the vector arcade graphics. The real Atari 2600 game looked like this:

Yeah, I was going to say I know those weren’t the 2600’s graphics on display. Possibly the 5200, but still unlikely.
I had a shocking number of Intellivision games back in the day. It’s where most of my newspaper route money went, instead of investing in Apple like the smart kids did.
I had an interest in doing that, but the number pad kept me from really pursuing it. I also tried the Intellivision Lives! game on the PS2, but it wasn’t the same.
I eventually picked up an actual console and some games from eBay at least a decade ago. It works about as well as you would expect from electronics that old, and I haven’t messed with it in years.
