FDA knew about problems with livestock antibiotics for years, did nothing

> anybody hoping the FDA’s new, voluntary limitations on antibiotic use

is delusional in the first place. But how in the world can the FDA and their lobbyists think that they will be spared in the antibiotic resistant Armageddon? Do they think they will die of old age, with big profits, before the scourge is on? Or do they believe there will be magical antibiotics to save just them and their families? This is what I don’t understand, at all. Maybe the way they have been operating, in such inhumane manner, they’ve finally come to believe that they aren’t human at all and not subject to disease like the rest of us?

Aaargh. So sickened (literally, see above) by government officials who feel zero responsibility toward the public they were hired to serve, and yet have unending fealty toward the wealthy and/or “the industry.”

This is not good news for anybody hoping the FDA’s new, voluntary limitations on antibiotic use will be effective.

Thanks, Kenyan Socialist!

Shut up and fuck off, I’m too busy tearing money out of everything within reach to stop and listen to inconvenient facts.
