It’s not clear whether abortion is health care.
What dumbfuckery is this? If abortion is not healthcare, then what is it? Carpentry?
An amendment in the Wyoming Constitution says adults have a right to make their own health care decisions, so Republicans enacted a ban that states abortion is not health care.
However, Owens said it’s up to the courts, not lawmakers, to decide whether that’s the case.
Worth noting that the Wyoming constitutional amendment cited was scared up by Republicans and voted in by Wyomingites as an attempt to hobble Obamacare.
Suck it, Repubs.
Agree that it shouldn’t be up to lawmakers to define health care, but it shouldn’t be up to courts either. How about we let healthcare professionals decide what counts as healthcare? I vote for that
