Feds say Jeffrey Epstein's weird passport was used multiple times

Actually it was 2008, not “the 70’s”, that Canada raised the age of consent from 14 to 16, with a “close in age” exemption of 5 years (so that 14 year olds can have sex with other teens without them getting thrown in the slammer)

It’s still nonsense. Clinton maybe a bad guy and a philanderer and womaniser but there is absolutely no indication that he was in any way aware of Epstein’s crime. Clinton’s contact with Epstein was at a time when as an former president he was always accompanied by security detail. Given the vitriol against the Clintons if there was anything substantial to connect Clinton with Epstein it would be all over the Media. It is not.

The Trump partying connection is (unsurprisingly, given Epstein’s and Trump’s joint interest in ostentatious wealth and serial abuse of underaged women) on a very different scale. They socialised for decades and clearly attended the same parties.

The Clinton is the same as Trump Whataboutism has gotten us to this point so let’s use our critical faculties to get us out of here.

Occam’s Razor says no. That sort of ruse would indicate that he both expected to be caught, and thought the expired passport would be a useful red herring. More likely is that he didn’t even expect the expired passport to be exposed. The other thing that makes it unlikely is that the doctored passport is itself damning, and most likely played a role in the judge deeming him a flight risk.

So I don’t think this was 10-dimensional chess, just normal rich asshole hubris.

The guy is a human trafficker. It’s not about 10-dimensional chess, it’s just de rigueur criminal enterprise. Rule #1 of crime is “Don’t sign the guestbook.” Epstein flies to France on his own jet, then assumes his false identity and flies on to Eastern Europe to procure children. Flight and hotel records show that Epstein was in France the whole time. The passport’s use as part of an escape would just be a contingency plan, not its primary role.

ETA: I didn’t mean to imply Epstein intentionally left this passport so that investigators would find it. I meant to say that it was no longer useful so he thoughtlessly set it aside. It just seems like poor housekeeping/evidence disposal.

Epstein is rich and rich people cover for each other, so I have to wonder if it is a real Saudi Austrian passport issued under a fake name. I haven’t seen details in the news about whether it is a government issued passport or a forgery. If it’s government issued, I’d say he’s an even bigger flight risk.

Pizzagate was always nonsense, but if anyone other than Trump was in the White House right now then Bill Clinton’s longtime relationship with Epstein would still be one of the most widely reported parts of the scandal.

Clinton doesn’t deserve to get out of this completely untarnished either, even if the final investigation shows he was only guilty of making bad choices regarding his associates.

I don’t give a fuck about clinton. If he’s guilty then he gets tried and goes to prison. Just like epstien, trump and anyone else who molests and rapes children.

I’m not a republican. I have integrity.

Exactly. Taking down anyone who enabled Epstein shouldn’t be a partisan issue.
