or, they could enforce that as the default, have per user passwords, user whitelists, identity verification, or other technological solutions.

zoom chooses to be insecure, and wildly so. exchanging ease of access for the inevitable abuse of their platform and its users

I mean I know we dig on zoom, but they, in their corporate offerings, suggest ALL of these things as well as single server signon integration for corporate environments. ANd yeah, it costs money, but they do offer it, they do offer it default in their commercial setups, and if companies want it they have to be content with not just using the free licenses.
