Where I live in NC nobody knows for sure who represents us in Congress yet because though the Republicans in charge of the state house redrew districts to suit themselves, a federal judge ordered a redrawing of those districts and a new election to take place in March. However, this order was contested by a governor who is no longer in office. Your link tells me VIrginia Foxx (eek!) is my representative, but under the redrawing, she is not. Since we don’t really know how the districts will look until March, I guess we’re being taxed without representation. Hmmm…that sounds strangely familiar somehow.
