As long as MoRon forbids discussion of climate change and insists on only reactive solutions instead of proactive, the situation is pretty hopeless. But if the good citizens of FL insist on electing and reelecting right wing idiots there will be no change.

But you see, if renewable sources can’t pick up the slack quickly enough, we’ll simply HAVE to ramp up extractive energy like oil, gas, and coal to meet the demands of the modern world. It’s simple, really.
